The

Final Judgment

Final Judgment Is Temporarily Held Back(Revelation - Chapter 7)

(1) and after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (2) and I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, (3) saying, hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads

.

God stops, for a brief moment - in the midst of fear, horror and terror, the opening of the seventh seal. He remembers his love and mercy and restrains from opening the seventh seal for the period of one season before he proceeds with his judgments upon the earth’s people. The severest judgments are yet to come as we shall see later on in Revelation.

Holding back his wrath and remembering his promise of mercy, he intends to take those who were/are left behind and seal those who have become his servants. He does that by placing his seal in their foreheads, so that they might be spared the prophesied judgments that he yet will still pour out upon the earth to those that have refused God and his love and have continued in their evil ways. God uses his angels as the emissaries of his mercy and of his judgments. All this is verifiable throughout the old and new testaments. We must be aware that we, as children of God are always in spiritual warfare with the forces of evil. As the children of God, Satan and his minions detest the fact that God has so many children on his side and he is doing all that is in his power to do to persuade God’s children to leave God. We must remain strong and faithful in the Lord, no matter what has happened or will happen. If we do and we remain righteous in the Lord through it all our rewards in heaven will be waiting for us.

(4) and I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. (5) of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. (6) of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manassas were sealed twelve thousand. (7) of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. (8) of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. (9) after this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; (10) and cried with a loud voice, saying, salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the lamb. (11) and all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, (12) saying, amen: blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen..

Here, it is Revealed during the early stages of the tribulation that God will command that the four angels holds back the four winds until all of the 144,000 from the tribes of Israel are sealed with the seal of God in their foreheads. You must remember that these twelve tribes come out of the tribe of the Abraham, is sac and Jacob line. The tribe of Ishmael, which is the tribe of Dan. These 144,000 are the witness to the fact that Jesus Christ is the true messiah. As you can see above the twelve tribes are given and the numbers of the people of the tribes are 12.000. There are also innumerable people from all nations and kindreds and tongues that also are witnesses to this fact and become children of God with his seal upon their foreheads. They will gather all about the throne of God with the cherubim and seraphim. The will fall down on their faces before the throne praising, worshipping and glorifying the Lord God. Jeremiah 30: 7 also tells us that Israel will bear the brunt of the Antichrist, whom the Lord will use to pass judgment upon them.

As the angels of the four winds hold back the fury of nature and the elements, (rain, snow, hail, wind, sun, extreme heat, earthquakes, floods and etc.), there will be a fifth angel that comes from the east (where the sunrises) who has with him the seal of the living God. It will be his job to seal the 144,000 out of the twelve tribes of Israel. We have no idea as to what the seal looks like, but many have made the speculation that it is the sign of the cross where Christ was crucified for the salvation of mankind. The important thing is that we, as God’s people have the mark of God that proves God’s ownership, protection and preservation of us from the evil-doings of Satan and his minions. While they still go through the tribulation marked with the seal of God, they will be in the service of God witnessing and trying to bring others to Christ and salvation.

We must remember that this group from the twelve tribes of Israel and those of other nations, kindreds and tongues, are separate and apart from those who were already caught up in the first phase of Christ’s second coming known as the rapture. (the second phase is Christ’s reign for a thousand years.) Those who were raptures shall have harps and vials that contain all the prayers of the saints. They will also carry palms in their hands; which is a symbol of praise and victory. Those of Christ’s church and were raptures will be priests and kings and reign with the king of kings. They will serve him in a special way in his temple, both day and night. As told to us below in the last four verses of this Chapter. The king of kings will dwell among them and no one on this earth will be sick, hunger or thirst. The sunlight will be bigger and brighter and there will be no more darkness (night). Even the moon will become as bright as the sun, yet there will be no extreme heat. (read the book of Daniel). The Lord will feed them and wipe away every tear from every eye. They will live longer and when they are a hundred years in age, they will be a child of a hundred, but the old shall be 1oo years old because of their sin. This is the living fountains of waters. (13) and one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? (14) and I said unto him, sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb. (15) therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. (16) they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. (17) for the lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

- The Judgments of the Trumpets -

(Revelation - Chapters 8-9)

(Six of the seven trumpets will be described here but the seventh trumpet and final will not show up until Chapter 11 of Revelation.

)

(1) and when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. (2) and I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. (3) and another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. (4) and the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

Now the season has come to pass and the seven the seal is opened. When it was opened, all of heaven became silent for a half an hour in the foreboding of the terrible judgments that are about to take place. There were seven angels who stood before God and he handed them seven trumpets. These seven angels will give out a trumpet blare from each one that will signal the rest of the judgments from God that will be poured out upon the earth and its people. These trumpet blares will come in succession of each other. Another angel came before the alter with a censer; he did so to offer it with prayers for the saints that are still on earth. The smoke that proceeded out of the censer were those prayers from the saints, which went up before the throne of God and out of the angel’s hand.

(5) and the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightenings, and an earthquake. (6) and the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. When the smoke had gone up to the throne of God, and with the prayers of the saints, the angel then took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar. A storm arose in the form of thunderings, lightenings and an earthquake. This earthquake shook all the nations of the earth from their very foundations. You must understand that this earthquake will not just be confined to one area of the globe, but will, in fact, cover and create earthquakes all over the planet in every place. No place will escape these earthquakes. The thunderings and lightenings from the heavens will signal this. With this accomplished the seven angels will then prepare to sound their trumpets. (7) the first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

The first angel, having sounded the first trumpet caused hail and fire mixed with blood to fall to the earth. These are small meteors and stars. When they fall upon the earth, it will cause many fires to start all over the world and cause one-third of the trees, grass and other plant life to be burnt up, yet no human life will be lost during this. (8) and the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; (9) and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. When the second angel sounded his trumpet, a great volcano erupted (a great mountain burning with fire) and spilled into the sea causing it to become blood (lava). It will destroy all the living creatures and the ships and those who are on the ships that are in one-third part of the sea. As the oil spills have killed much of the sea life in our oceans so will this fire destroy all that is in the one-third part of the sea. (10) and the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; (11) and the name of the star is called wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. (see also proverbs 5:4, Jeremiah 9:15; 23:15, Lamentations3:19, and Amos 5:7).

The third angel sounded his trumpet and an great star (meteor) called by the name of wormwood. This star exists in the heavens already. Some thought that back in 1986, when the Russian nuclear plant, that was named Chernobyl, which was translated into English as wormwood, exploded that it fulfilled this portions of the prophecy of God. Wrong! This one is yet to be as with the other events of the trumpets and judgments that God will mete out. Keep in mind that none of these will take place until the Antichrist is in place and has rule for seven years. When the wormwood star falls, it will fall upon a third part of the rivers and fountains of water and they will become so polluted that no one can drink from them. Those who do will die. Thirst will drive men to drink from these bitter waters or commit atrocious crimes just for a sip of cool clean water. (12) and the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. (13) and I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

(1) and the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. (2) and he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. (3) and there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. (4) and it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. (5) and to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. (6) and in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

The fifth trumpet having been sounded by the fifth angel summoned forth the Antichrist’s (who is now possessed by Satan) chief demon angel, to whom he gave the key to unlock the bottomless pit. When this chief angel of Satan opened the pit all them that were locked up were set free. These were the demons and fallen angels that were bound by God. When this was accomplished they were given power to torment all those who were not of God, but not to kill them. This they could do for a period of five months and the sting from the tail of the scorpion would cause them great suffering and they would wish to die but could not. They were also commanded not to hurt anything that was plant life, such as trees or green thing such as grass..

The next verses (7-11) describes what these scorpions look like and again re-iterates what the sting from their tails will do to men for five months. It goes on to tell us that they will have a king over them. This king is Satan who has taken over the Antichrist’s body after the Antichrist received a mortal wound that left him dead!. He is also known as Abaddon or Apollyon. There will be no limit to their demonic activity, except the limits of no killing men and not hurting plant life and the greenery of the land. Then it goes on to say that this first woe is past with two more to follow..

(7) and the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. (8) and they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. (9) and they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. (10) and they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. (11) and they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. (12) one woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. (13) and the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, (14) saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. (15) and the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. (16) and the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand - thousand: and I heard the number of them.

As he blares out the sound of his trumpet, four angels which were bound in the great Euphrates river are let loose. These four angels were prepared for a certain hour and day and month to slay/kill one third of the men in the world. The number of those who appear as horseman are two hundred thousand -thousand or 2 hundred million. Right now china has two hundred million soldiers prepared to cross the great Euphrates, which has dried up due to the dams that have been built. This allows them to cross over into the middle east and into Israel on dry land from their country. (17) and thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. (18) by these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. (19) for their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

This confirms that this is the Chinese army who will kill a third of the men. The heads of lions as described are tanks and ships that will bring forth nuclear missiles warheads and bombs that will do the killing. There will also be used modern day weapons (guns) that will also issue out more than bullets, they will issue out fire as these hand-held weapons send forth missiles as well..

(20) and the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: (21) neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

For those who were not killed by this warfare (plagues) and woe, still didn’t repent of their evil works of devil worship and worshipping idols of gold and silver or ofstone and/or wood. These idols can not see or walk or talk nor can they hear those that offer up prayers to them. There were also those that didn’t repent of their murders, fornications, thefts and their witchcrafts (sorceries). For these that do not repent there is another woe yet to come.

The Judgments of the Seven Trumpets:

The trumpets in heaven sounded the coming forth of the judgments of the Lord upon all the land. Each sounding of the seven trumpets ushers in and added judgment. The seven trumpet judgments are:.

(a) first trumpet - the world’s greatest fire..

(b) second trumpet - the world’s greatest oceanic disturbances..

(c) third trumpet - the world’s greatest water pollution..

(d) fourth trumpet - the world’s greatest darkness..

(e) fifth trumpet - the world’s greatest invasion of pestilence..

(f) sixth trumpet - the world’s greatest army..

(g) seventh trumpet - the world’s greatest storm..

- The little book and The angel -

(Revelation - Chapter 10)

(1) and I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: (2) and he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, (3) and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. (4) and when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

It is clear that this angel is a powerful one who has been give a specific purpose and will from God. A specific divine authority, if you will. As stated above he is clothed with a cloud and has a rainbow upon his head. His face was as bright as the sun and his feet like pillars of fire. In one hand he had a book and put one of his feet upon the sea and the other on the earth. He was the appointed and mighty proclaimer of worthiness when he spoke, it was like a lion’s roar and the seven thunders that spoke after him. But the divine voice of God forbade the apostle John to write what they had spoken and commanded that the words of the seven thunders be sealed up and that he not write their words. This is the mighty angel who in Revelation 5 asked, “who is worthy to open the book?’ The book is actually a scroll that is sealed with seven seals. It’s the title deed to earth and its subject is redemption. The lamb of God, who earned the right by redemption, is the only one worthy to open the seals on the book.

It appears that these seven thunders, based on my research and the wisdom and help from God I received in doing this great tribulation manual. That these seven thunders have alot to do with the second coming of the Lord. Apparently these seven thunders are the prelude to the second coming and phase two of Jesus’ return to earth for his millennial reign. By this I mean that these seven thunderings could also proclaim his forth-coming arrival of his reign on earth; much like the trumpets of old did when they announced the presence of the king was eminent. Another avenue of thought is that these seven thunderings could be the prelude to the destruction of the seven churches or even to the final judgment before the great white throne. With the evidence further given in this Chapter on the little book, I am more inclined to believe that it is a combination of both the millennial reign of Christ for a thousand years and the great white throne of judgment. As we read further on, I will explain this.

(5) and the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, (6) and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: (7) but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (8) and the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. (9) and I went unto the angel, and said unto him, give me the little book. And he said unto me, take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. (10) and I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. (11) and he said unto me, thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

As you see in the verses above, this powerful angel swore by him who created all things in the heavens and in the earth, that time will no longer exist to continue in the wicked ways that man has persisted on pursuing. This was told to the prophets in the old testament and by Jesus and his disciples in the new testament. God them commands that John take the little book from the powerful angel and eat it, saying it will taste like honey in his mouth, but be bitter in his belly. When John had done this, it was as God has said; God them told him to go and tell all that he had witnessed to all nations, kindred and tongue; as well as to the kings of the lands.

Going back to my remarks above about the seven thunders being associated with the second-coming of Christ and the great white throne of judgment, remember that the Lord God told John that it would taste like honey in his mouth, but be bitter in his belly? The second-coming of Christ is likened unto honey, for his reign on earth for a thousand years will bring peace and prosperity and harmony to all the earth. Even the sinners who have survived the great tribulation will be there. Keep in mind, as well, that Satan will be bound for the thousand year reign of Christ and those that sin will not be able to blame Satan for it. It will be the sin that they commit in their own mind and body. The bitterness in John’s belly was the final judgment before the great white throne of judgment where all those who refused or returned to the ways of the wicked will be judged one last time and sent into the lake of fire to suffer in torment forever and ever. There is still time to repent of one’s wicked ways and seek the glorious salvation and eternal life with Christ that he gave us when he died on Calvary.

- Binding of Satan, Reign of Christ, Final judgment -

(Revelation - Chapter 20)

Here is where we shall see the finality of Satan , the Antichrist and the false prophet for at least the time period of Christ’s thousand year reign. Satan will be let loose again at the end of Christ’s reign for a season to test the peoples faith in him. After that will come the final judgment and then the new heaven and the new earth that we shall see later on.

(1) and I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (2) and he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, (3) and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Into the bottomless pit is where the angel of the Lord will cast Satan, the Antichrist and the false prophet. He will put a seal upon the gates of hell until the thousand year reign has ended, Satan is loosed for a season and then their final judgment along with their followers takes place before the great white throne of judgment. When the angel lays hold of Satan, it also includes his demons as well. Their imprisonment will dramatically alter the world during the millennial kingdom.

During the thousand year reign of Christ, the people that are alive when it takes place will live, work, marry and give birth to children, much like they did before the great tribulation. The only difference here is that when they sin, they will not be able to blame Satan for causing or tempting them to sin. Their sin will come from themselves and their fleshly bodies. They will sin because they chose to sin. There will be no temptations coming from Satan and his minions. Their destructive influence is no longer around to influence human life, in the areas of human thought and life, for they would have already been removed.

The terms of serpent of old, devil or dragon are references to Satan and emphasizes his ferocity and cruelty as he first did in the garden of Eden. There are six references to the millennial or thousand year reign of Christ. There are also three different views concerning the millennial reign of Christ.

(1) Pre-millennialism - sees this as a literal thousand year Period where Christ fulfills numerous old testament prophecies as he reigns on the earth using the same general principles of interpretation for both the prophetic and non-prophetic passages leads most naturally to pre-millennialism.

(2) Post-millennialism - understands the reference to a thousand year period as only symbolic of the golden age of righteousness and spiritual prosperity. It will be ushered in by the spread of the gospel during the present church age and brought to completions when Christ returns. According to this view, references to Christ’s reign on earth is primarily of a spiritual nature and is only in the hearts of the believers in the church that he reigns.

(3) Millennialism -understand that the thousand years reign is merely symbolic of a long period of time. It also views the old testament prophecies of a millennial as being fulfilled in the church now or as a reference to an eternal state. In spite of all these interpretations or theories there is only one inescapable conclusion and that is Christ will return to earth and he will reign on earth for a thousand years in a really kingdom in the city of Jerusalem. It is also inescapable to deny that his reign on earth will be for a thousand years.

In Verse three it speaks of Satan being released for a little while or a season. This will occur at the end of Christ’s thousand year reign. Satan will be released so God can make a permanent end of sin before establishing the new heaven and the new earth. All who survive the tribulation and enter the kingdom will be believers. However, despite that and the personal presence and rule of the Lord Jesus Christ, many of their descendants will refuse to believe in him. Satan will then gather those unbelievers for one final and futile act of rebellious war against God. The Lord will decisively and swiftly crush it and then the great white throne of judgment takes place, followed by the establishment of the new heaven and the new earth. The bottomless pit appears seven times in the book of Revelation and it refers to the place the fallen angels and evil spirits are being kept captive. Once the greatwhite throne of judgment these fallen angels and evil spirits who were waiting to be sent to the lake of fire, will be sent there - to their final and eternal punishment.

(4) and I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (5) but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (6) blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. For those souls who were Christian that were beheaded by Satan and his cohorts during the great tribulation, they are considered martyrs. They will be executed this way and by fire for refusing his mark and refusing to bow down and worship him.

They too, will reign with Christ during his thousand year reign on earth. The bodies of all the dead of all ages who are unbelievers, as mentioned in verse 5, will not be resurrected until the great white throne of judgment. On the topic of the resurrection, scripture teaches that there are two kind of resurrection. The first kind is described as the” resurrection of the just”, the resurrection of those who are Christ’s at his coming and it is considered the “better resurrection”. it includes only the redeemed of the church age and the tribulation saints. They will enter the kingdom in resurrected bodies, along with those believers who survived the tribulation. The second kind of resurrection is the resurrection of the unconverted who will receive their final bodies at the great white throne of judgment. These bodies will be suited for the eternal torment in the lake of fire. For those who die or have died in the Lord, they are blessed with the privilege of entering into his kingdom. The first death is physical and spiritual. The second death is eternal condemnation in the lake of fire.

(7) and when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, (8) and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, gog, and magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. We have reached the point where the millennial reign of Christ has ended and now it is time for Satan to be let loose for a season to tempt those that are the descendants of the great tribulation survivors. He will bring a cohesive leadership to the world of rebels to these descendants of the great tribulation, that entered the kingdom at the beginning. The reason he is let loose for one final time is to Reveal those who reject Christ and are sinners. These will be brought into the final judgment for the very last time. Gog and magog are the names given to the army of rebels and its leader. They were ancient names for the enemies of the Lord. Magog was the grandson of Noah and the founder of a kingdom located north of the black and Caspian seas. Gog is apparently the leader of the rebel army - known collectively as magog. The battle depicted here is like the one we saw in Ezekiel 38 and 39. The only difference is that this battle takes place at the end of the millennial reign of Christ.

(9) and they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. (10) and the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (11) and i saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Starting with verse 11, it describes the final judgment of all unbelievers of all ages. The Lord referred to this event as the “resurrection of condemnation”. This judgment takes place in the indescribable void between the end of the present universe and the creation of the new heaven and earth.
